Try not to pick or comb your hair when it’s dry, that always causes breakage. Only comb when wet and with conditioner in it.

This was really helpful!! I’m gonna start putting some stuff in my hair everyday too. idk if it’s the right stuff but it’s all I have :/
Does anybody know about the following products: What if I put in Sulfur8 for my protein, Hair Fertilizer for my moisture and lock it in with Hot Six Oils? I’m sure I sound stupid but I really have no idea what products can give my hair what it needs. It feels really thick and fluffy like cotton but nappy and I don’t want to perm my hair anymore. I need help :(

    Protective styles …
Protective styles are great but they are not necessary to retain length. They do help but I don’t like to cover my hair. I like to wear my hair out and have fun with it. Keeping your hair well moisturized, maintaining a moisture / protein balance and staying away from heat is the key.

I can’t wait until my hair is about your length . Before I did my big chop, your videos inspired me to have the to courage to do it. I was afraid of how it would look, but I’m so glad that I did it. It feels much better and I swear my hair is actually thanking me, lol. God bless.

Saleemah, your hair is gorgeous!!! It has really grown since the BC. If you are wearing your hair out, how are you protecting the ends and retaining length? I understand you do braidout styles and I think I saw 2-strand twists. I though you needed to cover your ends to protect them. Please elaborate…Thanks
