polycystic ovaries syndrome (PCOS)-
and over active thyriod-
they’re isnt much treatment but women with PCOS go on the pill, and it’s known to help, but i don’t know how much yet,
But if its really annoying electrolysis and laser treatment is supposed to be permanent

More testosterone than oestrogen……. happens leading up to menopause.

Excessive facial hair in woman is hormonal, more often than not its Polycystic ovaries.
Its part of the endocrine sytem which is controled by the patuitary gland situated in the brain, roughly at at the base of your skull, it controls/regulates the hormones in ur body.

Another reason can be age, or taking the pill can also be a cause for this extra growth.

Its nothing to worry about if its the odd one, it could also mean that that particular hair has a longer growing period than the rest!

Alot of times it is hormonal, but to be on the safe side check with your doctor. I do know there is new medication out there, that you can get from doctor. This is by prescription only, but it works great in the removal of the hair and keeps it from growing so quickly back. I don't know the name of it, but if you ask a doctor he or she will know. It is fairly new product out there.

You just have a sertern level of testosorne that's. You can get it sorted with the local gp whoo will give you hormone replacements.

Not really.

It’s all hormonal stuff.

I think poycystic problems can cause hair growth, and also anything where testosterone comes in.

It’s Hormornal..once you get in your thirties it’s all down hill!…
You could wax or use facial hair removal cream if it’s bad, if it’s just the odd one, pluck.

We all have the odd hair that seems to turn up overnight, I know I have! Polycystic Ovary Syndrome can cause a lot of facial hair, and I mean more than the average bits of hair on a woman, and some medications can cause it as well, basically its all down to hormones!
